To day is 29 of the june 2012.To day is school last day.To day Room 30   doing... To day fist we doing maths.After we doing spots we play rugby.Next we eat moing tea. After moing tea we doing spelling.My bubby is mishu.My spelling level is level 2!After we doing writing.Next we eat lanche.Last we doing bubby cless.

Wacky Hair Day

On Friday the 29th of June it was Wacky Hair Day.  We had to dress up in hats,wigs or just spike up our hair and put things on them such as materiels or hair spray. We all looked very weird but it was worth it.  We took photos of our class and gave out certificates to the people with the wackiest hair!!  Here is one of the photos of our class with wacky hair.

Going to New Plymouth

For the two weeks of the holiday I will be in New Plymouth with my nana and cousins and auntie. My nana got a cat called Micka. I can't wait to see my cousins i haven't seen them in such along time. My dad will be driving me to the all the way there it will take 4 hours.

Calendar art

On Friday 14 of June room 30 did calendar art. We had to draw a Taniwha (Maori guardian) I drew a fling Taniwha which could also go in water. Firstly we drew our Taniwha in our everything book, then we did a copy on our calendar paper, after that we drew over it with vivid. Then we put our art shirts on and got a signal to go and start to dye. When we finished that we left it to dry.

Last Thursday 14 of June we made calendar art.We started in our everything book(a book when you do everything very obvious)we made a taniwha in it and added some details.After we made them we copied them in our calendar paper.I did like a eel taniwha looks pretty cool.after we put on art shirts to signal the teacher that we are ready to dye.she called my name and i got my taniwha and started dyeing looked way better.now its going to be calendar day and my parents might get a the calendar art that i made

the worst camping trip ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi my name is Taine i am 8 and i am going to tell u about my camping trip to thames in 2012.I hope you like it :).Well the people that were coming  were my aunty and uncle my sister and cousins,me and my mum grandma and grandad. As you know we where going to Thames.The campsite was a while  down the road.We set out at 8:00 in the morning ,We went in my grandad's van my grandma said it was going to take 2 hours to get there.We were driving along a twisty twirly road for a second i thought i was going to spew :(.Later on i fell asleep  and woke at 1:00 i asked if we were there yet  then my mum said you have asked her about 1 thousand times Taine.well we finally got there the end, well thats what i want to say but the nightmare goes on.We stopped at a park just a while down the road from the campsite.Before we set out we got to pick some lollies, i got a whole bag of lollipops they were the chuck lollipops.well my mum said we could all have some so we went on the playground with our lollipops and my  cousin called Tyler bumped me and i dropped my lollipop and that is one of the worst things and then i asked for a new lollipop but my mum thought that i just wanted another lollipop that is the second  thing that happened  to me, 2 bad things so far but there's more we went to a cafe  and my cousins got a whole biscuit each excepet my little cousin Alana.But me and my sister had to share one.3 bad things. then we got back in the van and went to the campsite I  thought that it would be a little campsite but there were alot of sites we went to the reception and

technology with Mr Rankin

On Tuesday 5 June  and Wednesday 6 June we did technology with Mr Rankin.We had 5 activities they were about levers.There were wood work and lego lever table (techno lego) one thing you need to know is our techno teacher loves lego.Getting on with the activities there was the computer table and such it was fun digging out the jelly beans with the digger made out of lego.We liked technology we hope we do it again.

I would give myself 9/10 for this. I need to work on looking more at the audience and speak more slowly I think I did well at staying still while I was speaking.

diggers in technology

Hi my name is Sharan and my name is Olivia and this is the story of us at technology making diggers and learning about levers.First we did the roll and headed for the amazing day at technology.We were all excited well at least I think we were.So as we where saying when we got there we where told to get a chair and sit down any where we wanted to so we sat with our friends.Mr Rankin said we were all rude little children for a joke by the way he's really funny.We made the most diggers in the hole middle school and we made 2 and a half 1 was built and cut all the peices in the second 1.

felix's and mishu's technology day

On Tuesday and wednesday Room 30 did technology with Mr Rankin.  We did wood work, made technics (lego), went on the computers and played in the digger area. After that Mr Rankin told us what to do. Mr Rankin split us in to six groups and directed us to our first activities. Mr Rankin was with the wood work group, he helped us to saw the wood witch we needed to make our mini digging machine called lever.
