For  Mini olympics room30 had made Canada t shirts.First we had to get a white t shirt from our houses.Then we had to cut out letters and canada leafs from the paper.Then we had to put the leafs on our t shirts and trace them with your  sketching pencil then we traced it with our vivid.Then we pined the letters on our t shirts and traced around them,then we painted our canada leaf that we traced. We had to paint our leafs red for canada.Then we put the letters of our surnames at the back of our  t shirts.
We again put the letters on the back except it was 30 then we painted 30 and we'r ready.

MINI OLYMPICS

 mini olympics 

On Tuesday the 15th of August, In the middle school we had the mini olympics.

We made shirts by ourselves to wear in the mini

Olympics. We made headbands and flags by ourselves too and we had tattoos and face painting.

In our T-Shirts we used vivid to write C A N A D A and had a maple leaf on the front. On the back we had our last name and 30 .

In the mini Olympics we did chopsticks, bum shuffling , bat and ball ,hoola hoop, skipping and shape box. Everybody practised really hard in the mini Olympics.

In chopstick we need to pick the beans onto the other plate as fast as you can with chopsticks. 

In bum shuffling we need to use your bum to shuffle without your hands . 

In the hoola hoop we need to spin our hoola hoops as long as we can and if you do it for too long you will get 2 hoops and you will need to walk and if you drop it you will need to stop and sit down.

Nicolas's current events

Today it was my turn to present my current events for oral language. My current events was about a dog named sky attacked a neighbour.

Our focus was to face the audience when we were speaking. I would give myself 10/10 for this.

The All Black Jerome Kanio

Jerome Kanio is a rugby player who went to Point View School by a helicopter and came out of the helicopter and it was really cool.Lots of children including,Me and my friend Nicholas touched Jerome  on the hand and it was really cool. The helicopter was the biggest helicopter i ever saw and I never knew that the end of the helicopter has a door that people can go in.It was my first time looking at Jerome in real life not on TV!!!!!!!!!!

ANZAC Day Biscuits

Alex,Nicholas and Joe.

The day before ANZAC day Room 30 made ANZAC biscuits in groups. Nicholas’s group made the most biscuits. Everybody enjoyed making the biscuits but few of the people didn’t like the biscuits. We send the biscuits to the battalion who fought in the world wars. The biscuit’s ingredients won’t be rotten fast so we can send the biscuit on the boat for a few weeks. I think Joe ate the most biscuits. We did the baking in the cafe. Later in the year we might do more baking. Joe, Alex and Nicholas really enjoyed baking and eating. Joe, Alex and Nicholas enjoys learning about ANZAC day and the world wars.
