Blue

Blue is for the beautiful ocean with little animals swimming.

Blue is for boys and girls that are cool.

Blue is for sad and happy for mood thing that glow.

Blue is for water that shimmers in the sun.

Blue is for the sky with white fluffy clouds

Eclipses

Today ,Wednesday the 14th of November both New Zealand and Australia had an Eclipse. An Eclipse is when either the sun blocks out the moon or the moon blocks out the sun that is called a solar Eclipse (sun)and lunar eclipses(moon).


When solar Eclipses happen it goes dark or though the clouds help.




Know matter what do not look at the sun. If you have to look at the sun then put the blinds down and look through them.

Principal for the week

This week we have a new principal for the week her name is mrs Sidhwa but only for this week she is principal.

We have writen  her some letters and one of the things we said was paint the school purple and open the filed and guess what she did not paint the school purple she opened the filed.

Middle School Mini Olympics

On Tuesday 14 August at 1:50pm the whole middle school had the Mini Olympics with their chosen country. Room 30’s country was the amazing...Canada!! We were the Canadian Class. OK lets get more into the Mini Olympics.The first activity was the fast shape box,Olivia,Natasha,Kyle and Samuel were doing the shape box for Room 30.The super Olivia got us our first medal when she won a bronze. Our second activity was the awesome two people skippers.Hayley and Samantha were our fist group with Archisha and Simran for the girls while Ethan and Taine and Kyle and Jeffery was for the boys.Kyle and Jeffery came third. Chopstics was our third activity with Brian,Felix,Amanda and Kaitlyn,sadly no one won a medal in room 30. Then it was time for the skilled hula hoops. Sharan,Malin,brain and taine were doing this sport.Brian earned our first gold and mailn did too. Bat And Ball was next. Mishu,Sharan,Morgan and Nicholas was our people.Sharan won a gold while Mishu won a silver. Bum Shuffling wasthe ast activity.Our teams were in a tough comitition with the other classes but we did very well.

Today it was my turn to present my current events for oral language. My current events was about A Horse lost in the sea .

Our focus was to face the audience when we were speaking. I would give myself 9/10 for this.

I need to work on giving more information .

the best time at school

On wednesday the 23 of May a helicopter came to school they landed on our field.All of the students in the school came.They stopped and Jerome Kaino came out of the Westpac helicopter.The pilots came out from the helicopter. Suddenly there was a big noise the hole  school sang a song.

the life of gymnastics at school

hi our names are Olivia,Hayley and Samantha we are going to tell you about the life of gym at school.We where in the gymnastics group last year and we are going to addition  for the group this year.The only people that is going to addition for the gymnastics group in the class is Samantha,Sharan,Hayley,Morgan,Jess,malin and Olivia.You have to be a school at 8 o'clock sharp in the morning on Wedensday.Also on wedensday at  lunch.To get in the gymnastics group you have to do a cart wheel and a forwod role.Every one that is auditioning for it is really happy to doing it.

Our Class Plant

Hi our names are Hayley and Olivia. In our class we have 3 pet cacti called Fluffy, Cuddles and Softy. They live in our class on a book shelf. They have a big pot to live in. We have had them since Term 1 2012. The first 1we had was Fluffy, then we cut off a part of it only the top though. The last 1 we got was at the start of Term 2 so we have only had him for a little while we will probably get another next term. It is really strange that Fluffy had Cuddles for a baby and he is a boy all of them are boys so we think Fluffy is like a father sea horse. We never really give it any water because it is a desert plant. It also has lots of water packed in its body.They need a lot of sun because they are from the desert and it is always sunny.You are not allowed to touch, but you can say hi to all of them.
