My year at 2012

At 2012 I was a year 4 my teacher was Miss lankow. the best part of the year was when we went to birkenhead leisure centre. What i liked the best was kayaking and we made rafts and pancakes and we played giant wizards and wolfs. the second best trip i ever went was the zoo trip. The zoo trip was very fun and awesome because we did a lot of fantastic activities the stickers are when you win some activities I won 2 stickers it was very changing so I had to be very careful the hardest was a flamingo activitie. I think some people was cheating. My class also went in a dark cave we saw so walrus that were showing of there skills that they can do. The hole class had a humungus lunch brake my friend and I were practicing our speed so we can have a race and exercize for walking after we walked and walked to some pond a hippobotomus came swimming past. Everybody was going to the an exerzing marching. It took a very long time. Our orca day was to free morgan the orca. The reason why we had to free morgan is because some people found morgan and put him in a zoo be looked after. So we wore black and white for morgan. I guess this is finish so bye bye!

Father's day

 Father's day!

On 2th of September 2012 it was Father's day!!!I didn't have anything to give to my dad so i wrote him a card.So at the afternoon we made stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon and beef and mushroom burger!So at night when we said happy father's day!He was so surprised!I was glad.And so i had the best father's day i've ever had!I think this the end so BYE BYE!:D

Real CROSS CONTRY!!!YAY!

On the 29th of August Room30 had to walk from point view to botany down's secondary college. First we cheered for the year 3 boys and girls.After those people went it was our turn to run a 1800m. The teacher said on your marks get set GO! all of the people ran as fast as they can and finally... josh came first jacob second and third was jonnathan. All the peole tried there hard and there best to run 1800m.

Harold

On Wednesday the 25th of july 2012 Harold the giraffe came to point view school the life Edgeaction carried Harold to our school.We got the tickets from the lady she intradused herself. the next thing we did was go to the trailer about the body.Harold came out and said a joke that was funny!!!

My trip to ROTORUA !!!

On the 18th august I went to ROTORUA! FIRST i went to the Glowworm cave.We went inside the cave some water dropped on my hair.the cave was also very big there was a boat that goes around the cave.It was our turn to get on it.the cave was dark but at the end we came out.Next we went to a restaurant and ate a lot of food.After that we went to the Huka waterfall.the next thing was the hotel.We decided to go to the Polynesian Spa.And sleep at the hotel.The next day we ate breakfast at the Lake land Queen Cruise.After that we went to Rainbow springs and had fun. And the last thing was we went back home.

On 16th of August 2012 Room30 was running at our senior courts we had to run 2 and a quarter laps it was really muddy on the footpath and the grass so we to squash ourselfs into the people. then we had to do a  quarter more laps till we finished when we got back it was raining and some children just didn't listen to the instructions so they just played in the senior playground and then they got told of because they did that without permission so after that we had to go back to our teacher then to the class.

Room 30's mini olympics!

On tuesday 15 August Room30 did our school olympic in the hall.our contry that we had to surport was CANADA!!!

We had to go after the sports bell rang to get ready for our middle school olympics.

First we did shape the shape box we came 3rd in the shape box by kyle and samuel.After that we did the chopsticks I  had to go up the I tried my best. the only thing you have to do is you have to put the beans into the bowl and if you drop 1 you have to put it back to the bowl that is in the left.Next we did hoops mail,brian and taine and brian they did there best to win.finally we did the bat and ball there was a boy who nearly put the ball down kyle and mishu tried not to put the ball down and they didn’t.the last thing we did was the bum shuffling our team came 2nd and we were so close to beat the other team.the school bell rang 10 minutes ago so we ran back to our class then packed up and went back home.

Zoolympics

On Monday 6 August we went to the Auckland Zoo. First we got into groups and got a mini booklet that we had to fill in.The first thing we saw was the giraffe and the zebra. We measured ourselves and see how tall we are then we filled the sheet. We also went to the cave and saw some seals. Next we went to the mare cats.They were really cute. There were lots of apes like the spider monkey,orangutan, baboon and the chimpanzee. The were all really cheeky. At the end we finished the mini booklet and got a gold medal. The best animal we saw was the tiger.
We had a great time at the Auckland Zoo.We hope we can go there again.

my last day until I go to samoa

In the holidays I went to samoa it was so hot that it was burning that day my Dad picked me up and went home. when we arrived home we swam in the swimming pool but it was too dirty so i watched Tv then i went to sleep.the next morning we had to eat a pig and other seafood. i was so full that i went up and sleeped again even went it was 4:30 in the afternoon. after that day it was my last day my family packed up the suitcase I had to sleep early so I did.the day came we went to brush our teeth and eat breakfast and went to the airport we said goodbye and went to the airplane.

felix's and mishu's technology day

On Tuesday and wednesday Room 30 did technology with Mr Rankin.  We did wood work, made technics (lego), went on the computers and played in the digger area. After that Mr Rankin told us what to do. Mr Rankin split us in to six groups and directed us to our first activities. Mr Rankin was with the wood work group, he helped us to saw the wood witch we needed to make our mini digging machine called lever.

how to make ANZAC bicuit's!!YUM!

1. 1/2 cup of grade flour.
2. 1/2 cup of sugar.
3. 3/4 cup of coconut.
4. 3/4 cup of rolled oats.
5. 75G of butter.
6. 1 tablespoon of golden syrup.
7. 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.
8. 2 tablespoons of boiling water.
9. put it in the oven for about 15 minutes until the biscuits go golden then take the biscuits out of the oven.
10.  THEN YOU CAN EAT THE YUMMY BISCUITS YUM!
11. and then eat  them and feel good about it!
